Hello, I’m trying to find an Eddystone 730/4 and wondered if anyone has one for sale, it doesn’t have to be in working order but does need to look in good condition as it is being used as part of a display. If anyone can help please email jwayre@aol.com. Thanks

Hi Jon : I have read with interest your posting of 4th January. Please see my post of July 20, 2016 which might interest you; nothing has changed since that date. There might be some possibilities we could discuss.

Hi, I’m looking to buy an Eddystone receiver. The radios I’ve been looking at – actually vary from the older EDDYSTONE S740 type with the half moon dial to the slightly more modern Eddystone 830, 730 (A) and EA112 – as long as they work and are in fair condition I’d be happy. Do you know of anyone selling one of these radios – I live in Jedburgh, Scottish Borders.
6Thanks
Elliot

When l was 16 and lived in hull ,1965. And working as a apprentice electrician .my radio set at the time was a mint 19 set with all the extras and a British one . A friend of mine worked for a company that had a building overlooking Marconi marine. About every two months a couple of guys would smash a huge pile of serviceable Eddystone radios to pieces With sledge hammers , obviously did not want them back on the streets after buying the company.l called round a couple of times and asked if they had any old sets for sale , was told politely they did not. I was gutted. One of the electrical jobs l had as a lad working on the docks on new stern fishers .the radio and radar equipment was fantastic l often wonder why l was moved of the job when l showed some interest in them. good times.
8I have a working eddystone 740 in good condition for sale
9Andrew send me a picture and a comment on whether complete including mains lead, how much you want for it and where located. Also whether you will pack and ship or collect only and I will put up on for sale page. Regards, Chris G0EYO g0eyo@blueyonder.co.uk
10Hello,
11I am located near Dallas, Texas and have two Eddystones for sale. Both are the 830/7 models. I doubt that anyone from the UK would be interested in shipping but thought perhaps your subscribers in the USA might be interested. More info and photos are available. Is it permissible to list them?
Thanks,
