Hi,
I have been asked to sell an Eddystone 680X for a friend. It also has a speaker in a metal cabinet. In addition, we have the original sales brochure and various wiring diagrams. Please can you suggest a sensible selling price for it. I am tempted to offer it on Ebay but I need to ensure that I secure a suitable price for it.
Many thanks.

1S680X on its own between £50 and £100 depending upon condition and whether it is complete and works. If the speaker is an Eddystone speaker they can be worth £50 -£80 on their own. Chris G0EYO
2I have a 730/4 receiver which I am “bringing back to life”. I am in need of the crystal calibrator switch as the body of the original one is physically broken. If anyone can help it would be most appreciated.

Hello Ivor,
I have read your posting dated 23 May 2016. If you have seen my recent posting concerning my own 730/4, I am wondering if you might want to consider acquiring it for spares on terms we can discuss ? I am located in the town of Buckingham near Milton Keynes.

I wonder if it is possible to obtain the manual of the Orion 7000. Over the years I have collected a great number of Eddystone receivers (having a very tolerant XYL) and browsing through all the copies of Lighthouse (happy days) I found no information, which is probably not too surprising given the 7000 came at the end of the Birmingham era I believe.
5If the manual, listed as ‘on request’, is available I would be most grateful.
see my e mail to you. Chris G0EYO
6Just a brief comment to say as former employee from 1968 to 1981 (mainly in the Testing Department working on VHF and UHF equipment) it is great to see memories of this great company and its technology still live on across the web in various sites. I have so many fond memories of working at Eddystone and would love to contact other former employees who share such memories of both the company and it’s products. Kind regards Paul Marshall pauld.marshall1@gmail.com
7yes I remember your Dad, Dennis with fondness. If any former employees want their anecdotes published on the website I would be happy to do so. Chris G0EYO
8Good Morning,
An excellent website. I was attempting to obtain/download a manual for an Eddystone 1837/2, but it appears that it is obtainable by special request.
Could you please advise how and in what format I request a copy?

9I will check to see if we have a copy in the Archive that I can scan as a pdf. will let you know. Chris G0EYO
10Robert, the manual already available for download from the service manuals list covers the /2 version of the 1837. Its a big file 144 pages. Chris G0EYO
