Good day, Chris,
1I have a few Eddystone receivers and lately a EB35 found ist way to me.
Unfortunately this receiver does not work. Otherwise it is in very good shape.
The light comes on, it emits a typical background hiss, but not much more.
Being not to technically gifted I now am in search for someone who can repair that radio for me.
Back here in Germany, near the Dutch border I couldn’t find anyone.
Schematics I have and expenses will be paid for.
Do you know someone who can repair this radio?
Best regards.

Hi
I’m Finnishing off repairing a mk1 770u and am going to be looking fo an EA12 to add to my collection in the near future. Has anyone got any advice on the best place to look. I have looked in the usual places ebay, gumtree and they have turned up nothing. Any advice would be appreciated.

Good day.
3I received an Eddystone EB35 receiver but the mains supply unit seems to have suffered a direct short due to the incorrect placement if the supply unit.
The connectors were fused together and the radio connector wires gave been damaged to such an extent, that i am unable to connect an external D.C. power source.
The wire colours are Yellow, Green, Blue and Red.
Could you please provide with the wire colours for the bridging and positive and negative connections?
Simon
4You can download schematics and instruction information on the EB35 and it associated mains unit by looking in the service information in the Technical part of the website. Also look at any restoration articles for more information. Regards

Thank you Chris.
5I am not technically inclined, but although the schematics do not indicate the colours ofvthe colours of the power wiring and and the power supply is toast, I’ll do my best to sort out which colour wire goes where in the receiver.
I guess the red is Positive and Yellow Negative, while the Blue and Green are bridged.
All the very best.
Simon
Hi Chris
6I am happy to say, that my receiver is working perfectly. Red for positive, Green for Negative and Yellow and Blue bridged.
Best regards.
Simon

8I need a new set of brains! I’ve been trying to remove the front panel to get at the glass on a EC-10 All knobs ,fingerplate and any obvious screws removed but one edge still firmly attached with some non obvious fastening…..
Someone must have the solution….. I;d love to read what else has to be removed —- all PCB still attached .
No financial reward offered —except a big thank you !
Cheers

Pete. Go through Gerry O’Hara’s list of restoration articles I am sure he covers this on one of them. Also ask the question on the EUG groups.io forum where you will reach a wider audience.
