Hi there, has anybody come across this before on an EDDYSTONE EC10 mk1.
1On range 5 (mw) the oscillator drops out at both ends of the band, you cant re-align the band because you cant set the alignment points, the rest of the bands are fine. Many thanks Dave Jenks.
Worked at Eddystone in the mid-sixties. Any information on Bill Jennings (Test/final goods section) would be welcome as I worked with him in final test for a period of time. I also have an EC10 instruction manual, 2 x EB35 instruction manuals, EC10 amendment sheet dated October 1967 and a copy of the BP1136/ type 929 IF Converter. If these are of any use to you or anyone else, let me know and I will post them to you at the Reddich address noted above if this is correct.
2All the best and keep safe
John
Hi John, there is a Face book page called Eddystone Radio Limited employees that might help you find information on Pat Jennings. Would be happy to take the documentation off you if you can post to my Redditch address. I can e mail you direct if not sure of details.
3Many thanks

Emailed would be OK Thanks

Sorry Pete but we dont have any circuit or technical information on the 687/1 Vibrator Unit apart from the description in the Quick Reference Guide https://eddystoneusergroup.org.uk/QRG/PostwarModels.pdf under Receiver Accessories. It is possible that one of the service manuals for the Eddystone sets it was designed to be used with may contain information but it is just a guess
