Spares for Eddystone Receivers
Ian Nutt M0ECQ provides a not- for -profit spares service using genuine spares that were bought from the factory in the 1980s. Ian has a range of parts: IFT’s, Mains TX’s, coils, hardware etc. etc, including a complete front end in good condition. He also provides spares from scrap sets that come into his possession. His stocks are not in-exhaustive and it can take time to find items even though he has now got an inventory of items which you can download (see below). Ian is contactable on iandcnutt@msn.com. Although semi- retired he is sometimes unable to respond immediately to requests. He asks for your patience. When contacting Ian Nutt please use email as the primary medium. Finger Plates
I have had a number of new fingerplates made for the EA12 and 830 receivers. The 830 plates are suitable for all marks except the /4 (which has a tuning lock and would require the drilling of some extra holes but that should be easy if you have access to a basic workshop kit). They are as close as possible to original and should be a direct replacement.
830 Fingerplates.
The original batch of remanufactured fingerplates proved popular and have all been sold. A new batch is being manufactured and should be available in the next few weeks.
640 Scale plates, still available
They are screenprinted on a translucent acrylic material and look original: colours, layout and printing are virtually indistinguishable from the original.
They are available at a cost of £9.00 each plus £2.50 for post and packing (in the UK: overseas at actual cost). This price is set to recover costs and does not include any profit.
Buyers will need to drill a central hole and four fixing holes: but this should be easily done. Ian has left the scales undrilled so that any variations in the originl scale can be accommodated.
Ian would be able to drill the scale for anyone for a modest additional cost provided they send me their original scale as a template.

These are original and are in good to mint condition. They are the leaflets that were issued when the sets were bought new and are printed on the traditional Eddystone glossy paper.

Ian also has a number of spares from three 730/4 receivers that have recently been dismantled. These were inherited from Dave Simmons in a partial condition they had gone too far to be worth rebuilding.
